Reception

At the funeral reception, they had snuck down to the basement, to get away from the crowd. There they had told stories of the victim, and laughed while remembering funny events of the past. It felt good to laugh. They had spent too much time crying. #130story

Banned from shopping in Iceland
John saw this as redemption
He’d only ever been in once
He got such a cold reception ⛄️

It may just be my perception
That I spend a lot of time in reception,
Waiting for my next appointment
Hoping that it won’t be a disappointment.
I always have so much to say
Especially on poetry at work day.

For newly deceased Kevin
Saint Peter was out fishing
God was enjoying a bath
As been since creation
So Kevin just walked in
Not quite a saint in life
Down to serial jail terms
For breaking and entering
